Gunner Roy Oermann, 51st Battery, 18th Field Artillery Brigade, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E.E.E Oermann, Orchard Avenue, Black Forest, died of wounds on June 10, at the 47th Casualty Clearing Station. He enlisted in October 1915, and left for Egypt in February 1916, with the 14th Reinforcements of the 9th Light Horse. He volunteered for the artillery, and arrived in France in June of the same year. He was born at Hyde Park 21 years ago, and was educated at Richmond Public School and the Unley High School. He was very fond of outdoor life, and spent some time with Mr. Humphris of Gladstone. He was respected by all. His mother is an invalid.

THE LATE PRIVATE R. OLLIVER.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Olliver, of Leader street, Forestville, received a cablegram on Saturday informing them of the death of their eldest son, Roy, who was killed in action in France on August 12. He enlisted on August 2, 1915, and had seen service in Egypt, Arabia, and France. He celebrated his nineteenth birthday in Egypt on December 2 last. Before enlisting he was employed in the mirror works of Messrs.Thompson & Harvey. He was an active member of the Goodwood Baptist Church and was a favorite of all with whom he was acquainted.

THE LATE PRIVATE W. H. G. OSBORN.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Osborn, of Aldgate, have been advised that their younger son, Private W. H. G. Osborn, was killed in action in France on August 33. He enlisted in January 1915, and saw active service on Gallipoli before proceeding to France. He was a member of the church choir at Echunga and was held in high esteem by the towns people. Private Osborn, who completed his education at Muirden College, was engaged in clerical work for several years and latterly in farming and other pursuits. He was the only
brother of Mr. C. J. G. Osborn, of Unley.

After a short illness Mr. Claude Osborne, of Birdwood avenue, Unley, died at an early hour this morning. Deceased was well known in connection with the St. John Ambulance Brigade, having occupied the position of secretary of the South Australian district for several years. He was a particularly keen ambulance worker, having gone through four years of war service in that capacity. He has left a widow and two children. His remains will be interred at Mitcham Cemetery tomorrow afternoon.
